On August 22nd 2025, we release Aligned Elements V3.1 Hotfix 1 (3.1.587/276.24930).

Reason for this Version

This release addresses some important problems listed below.

Upgrading from previous versions

Aligned Elements V3.1 Hotfix 1 is backward compatible with Aligned Elements V2.4 and earlier. Opening a project for the first time with a new client will initiate a conversion of some of the internal data to a more performant structure. The data integrity is intact, and no information will be altered.

Installation

Aligned Elements V3.1 Hotfix 1 is available on our website for download as a standalone installer.

For MS Word x64 bit compatibility, use the designated setup on our website.

For setting up the Aligned Elements Web Server, contact us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

To install using the standalone Windows installer:

  • Uninstall any installed version of Aligned Elements on your computer.
  • Unzip the file and click setup.exe to install.

Fixes and enhancements

The full list of fixes can be found below. 

  • 10896 Allow to edit document objects with an IdArrayAttribute containing objects that do not exist
  • 10897 RPN Threshold filters don't work anymore
  • 10898 Error when changing type name in ReevaluatReviewProgressAndSendEmail
  • 10899 Merging Risk Tables no longer works under certain circumstances
  • 10900 Bug where DateTime Attribute's default value considers wrong date and time
  • 10901 Set open ID from manage users , fails for 2nd user
  • 10902 Create an empty table when table attribute's docx value is 0
  • 10903 Same VeR used for several VeTCs
  • 10904 Maintaining the TypeNames for a Tag does not consider that tagged Ids may come from Multiple projects
  • 10910 Allow export and import of date time attribute without date
